This pic is for those of you that do NOT know what a Bradley is, where the guy is half way out of the top of the Bradley, that is how i was standing when the accident happened
On Monday 25 Oct 99 @ approx 1630 I was involved in a "training accident" at work on Ft. Carson. I am the Bradley Commander of my Trak, and while driving across the field i saw that there could be a deep "ditch" up ahead and i told my driver to slow down, he is a new driver and being kinda nervous he stopped the trak really fast, and it caused me to be thrown around inside the "turret". I was then taken by helicopter to the hospital, where they did "exploratory surgery" on my gut. The doc had to repair my stomach, intestines and a couple of other lil things inside. I received 30 staples right down the center of my gut.
